<image:title>Conehead™ - 1st Generation</image:title>
<image:caption>Our first generation of Conehead™ can be divided into two parts : the overlying EPS and the Conehead™ EPS. Our Conehead™ structure can be used to reduce the mass of helmets and in addition be used to reduce the deceleration of the head during the impact. Yet most uniquely as the cones compress they increase the impact time of interaction. Conehead™ technology is better than normal structures by 25% in reducing G-forces and 15% in reducing the overall mass.</image:caption>

<image:title>Conehead™ - Trigon</image:title>
<image:caption>Our Trigon Conehead™ is the second generation and can be divided into two parts : the overlying EPS and the Triangle EPS. The Triangle head structure can be used to reduce the mass of the helmet. As well its structure is relatively stronger than the 1st generation structure because of the stability produced by the three triangular sides of its shape. Trigon Conehead™ is better than our first generation by 4% in reducing G-force and 3% in reducing mass.</image:caption>
</image:image>

<image:title>Conehead™ - Dual Side</image:title>
<image:caption>Dual Conehead™, the third generation is also divided into two parts: the overlying EPS and the Dual Cone EPS. The Dual Conehead™ structure can be used to reduce the mass of the the helmet even further than its predecessors. The cones facing inward and outward of the Dual Conehead™ layer are compressed at the same time during the impact, thereby reducing deceleration of the head after the initial impact. Dual Conehead™ is better than Triangle Head by 2% in reducing G-forces to the head and 6% more efficient in reducing mass.</image:caption>
</image:image>

<image:title>Conehead™ - super</image:title>
<image:caption>Super Conehead™, our fourth generation can be divided into three parts : the overlying EPS layer, the big cone EPS and small cone EPS. The Super Cone structure can be used to reduced the overall mass of a helmet. The two other EPS layers of cones, big and small, are used to further reduce the deceleration of the head during impact, surpassing all other of our Conehead™ technologies. Super Conehead™ is better than double Conehead™ by 1.5% in reducing G-forces to the head and 1.5% in reducing mass.</image:caption>

<image:title>Process & Production - Concept & Illustration</image:title>
<image:caption>From designer illustrations to 3D printed models, our R&D and engineering teams meticulously develop helmets that meet the highest quality standards and customer expectations with consideration of the tooling strength, impact testing restrictions and other factors. In the initial design phase, our design team creates concepts based on the design brief presented by the client. A series of 2D design illustrations is sent to the client for review and client feedback ensures the right design solution is met.</image:caption>
</image:image>
<image:image>
<image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6154d54543cccd54bf59d95b/b453a9cd-5b91-4979-857f-da5b513a1700/thumbnail_Alan_Clay01.jpg</image:loc>
<image:title>Process & Production - Clay & Shaping</image:title>
<image:caption>Once the 2D concept is approved by the client, our design team then creates a full sized design clay master based on the 2D concept. In this 3D clay phase, the design can be evaluated more accurately than in the 2D phase. Real world parameters such as testing requirements and manufacturability can be evaluated in this 3D clay phase. As with the previous initial design phase, the team consults with the client through a series of clay design reviews in order to ensure that the design integrity is maintained. Once the client approves the 3D clay master, it is sent to the factory for the next step in the process.</image:caption>

<image:title>Process & Production - 3D Scan & Rendering</image:title>
<image:caption>Once the clay model is created and approved by the client, it is scanned and our engineers go to work on the surfaces. As helmets have multiple angles and surface curvatures, this process requires expertise which can consider tooling strength and impact testing restrictions. The Headgy team consults with our clients throughout the development phases.</image:caption>

<image:title>Process & Production - Tooling</image:title>
<image:caption>Once the 3D rendering is finalized and approved, we move on to molding and tooling. ISO requirements are followed to achieve best production results.</image:caption>
